Further selection in post-sorting

Automatic conveyor belts carry the textiles processed in pre-sorting through to post-sorting. Here, the types of material and the condition of the textile are assessed. We also examine the cut here and decide whether it is modern or not.

There are a variety of department in post-sorting;
including trousers, extra and no 1, dresses/skirts, household items, wool, shoes and leather/fur department etc.
